Through our network of local pharmacies, we provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Retirement Centers and Independent Living Facilities.

From our pharmacists to our delivery personnel, we foster a team-oriented culture that values compassion, professionalism and integrity. We instill in our team a rigid focus on the delivery of timely and compassionate patient care.

Typically our service area is within 150 miles of our pharmacies. We maintain local, 24-hour, seven-day per week, on-call pharmacist support for emergency dispensing and for consultation with the facility’s staff or attending physician.

Additional services provided by our pharmacies include:

• Consultant pharmacist services
• Intravenous medications and nutrition products
• Medical supplies and equipment
• Clinical care planning
• Electronic medical records systems

We utilize a unit-of-use drug distribution system, including blister card packaging and unit dose packaging.

Consultant Pharmacist Services

To help clients comply with the federal and state regulations, our staff pharmacists and consultant pharmacists provide the following services:

• Monthly medication regimen reviews for each resident. This frequency is adjusted for assisted living patients.
• Participation on the pharmacy and therapeutics, quality assurance and other committees.
• Development and maintenance of pharmaceutical policy and procedure manuals.
• Reports required for OBRA and other regulatory agencies.
• Contribution to plan of care programs and service inputs.
• Counseling related to appropriate drug usage and implementation of drug protocols.
• On-site educational seminars for the nursing staff and other staff members.
• Nurse consultant services and consulting for dietary and medical records.

Through an affiliated company, we offer a customized software solution which enables our consultant pharmacists to perform efficient and comprehensive monthly reviews.

• Wholesale Medical Supplies/Medicare Part B Billing
• Specialty compounding
